Yoga A prenatal yoga class is all about creating space for the baby to grow and for maintaining the mothers total body health. It keeps muscles strong and supple to be best prepared for delivery and beyond. This unique environment is a wonderful place to connect with other women going through the experience of pregnancy. Classes are a community of women in all different stages. Our students give and receive emotional support and learn from each other as well as from the teachers, who have all been pregnant themselves. |

Yoga asanas (poses) are modified for every stage of pregnancy. The use of props—blocks, bolsters, chairs and blankets—allows for supportive and stress free stretching and strengthening. Click here for a more detailed description of asanas (poses) for prenatal and pospartum yoga. |
